Bach Mai hospital`s branch is expected to serve 1,000 – 1,500 patients per day and is open from Monday to Friday.
The Hanoi-based Bach Mai hospital on March 25 put a general clinic branch into use in Phu Ly city, the northern province of Ha Nam, the Sai Gon Giai Phong newspaper reported.
According to Nguyen Quoc Anh, director of Bach Mai hospital, the branch accommodates 16 clinical rooms, 12 subclinical labs, functional and imaging rooms, including rooms for emergency, general internal examination, musculoskeletal, endocrine, renal urology, neurology, dermatology, obstetric-gynecological examination, among others.
For the past time, the hospital has tried its best to put its branch into operation soon, to meet the people’s demand for health check-ups and treatment. The hospital has sent over 120 doctors, nurses and medical staff from Hanoi to the clinic in Ha Nam. Numerous equipment is also transferred from Bach Mai hospital in Hanoi to meet professional requirements for the clinic, Nguyen Quoc Anh said.
The clinic also arranges specialized ambulance vehicles to serve emergency cases that need to be referred to Bach Mai hospital.
