In 2025, Mui Ne National Tourism Site expects to welcome 9 million visitors, including 1.5 million foreigners.
Binh Thuan province People’s Committee has issued a plan to realize the decision of Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc on the development of Mui Ne into a national tourism site by 2025 with an orientation towards 2030.
According to the plan, Binh Thuan province will focus on investing and developing the infrastructure and tourism services to meet the criteria of a national tourism site. In addition, there will be an appropriate policy to attract strong investors to come and develop Mui Ne into an attractive destination in the South Central Coastal Region and in the whole nation. Up to 2030, it will become one of the leading spot in the Asia – Pacific region.

Mui Ne National Tourism Site is located on the strip of land of 14.760ha, stretching along the coast from Hoa Phu commune (Tuy Phong district) to Phu Hai ward (Phan Thiet city). Of the totaI, an area of 1,000 ha is defined as a key area for the establishment and development of functional areas for tourism sector. Mui Ne National Tourism Site will be developed according to the green growth criteria with the purpose of protecting environment and landscapes, especially the ecosystem in Bau Trang tourist area and sand dunes along the seashore.
