The outstanding feature films will include A Story of Love and Fury, Trinta, Nise, and The Heart of Madness.

A week screening Brazilian feature films will take place in the Hanoi’s National Cinema Center at 87 Lang Ha from May 10 to 14 this year.

A Story of Love and Fury won the 28th Animation Festival of Annecy Winner for Best Picture in 2013.

The Brazilian Films Week is to celebrate the 32 anniversary of Vietnam and Brazil establishment diplomatic relations, which falls on May 17. It will offer audiences a variety of film genres ranging from animated to biopic.

The outstanding feature films will include A Story of Love and Fury, Trinta, Nise, and The Heart of Madness.

The film A Story of Love and Fury (Portuguese: Uma História de Amor e Fúria) is a 2013 Brazilian animated drama film written and directed by Luiz Bolognesi. It won the 28th Animation Festival of Annecy Winner for Best Picture in 2013.

This award-winning animation highlights a 600-year love between an immoral tribal warrior and his goddess, following them through four phases of Brazilian history: colonization, slavery, the Military Regime, and the year 2096 when the world was at war for water.

Meanwhile, Trinta is a 2014 biopic movie, directed by Paulo Machline. Based on true events, Trinta tells the backstage story of Joãosinho Trinta, a self taught artist and frustrated ballet dancer who revolutionized Rio de Janeiro’s carnival parade in the 70’s becoming one of Brazil's most innovative artists of all time.
