Bringing warmth to Quang Tri residents through “The Heart of LifeWear” Initiative

Kinhtedothi - On the occasion of the inauguration of the Con Roang school site in late January, 5,000 HEATTECH thermal items and 1,100 PUFFTECH padded jackets were donated to residents and children in Thuong Trach and Phong Nha communes, providing essential warmth ahead of the Lunar New Year.

Recognizing the urgent need for improved educational facilities, UNIQLO Vietnam, in partnership with the Hope Foundation, spearheaded the renovation of the Con Roang school site. The project was officially completed before the Lunar New Year, featuring two new classrooms, two teachers' rooms, and essential auxiliary facilities. Funding for the project was sourced from the proceeds of the "UT Mickey Mouse in Vietnam" collection, sold during the Spring/Summer 2025 Thank You Festival.

Beyond infrastructure support, UNIQLO is bringing its LifeWear philosophy closer to local communities through the global initiative "The Heart of LifeWear." Marking the first time this initiative has been implemented in Central Vietnam, 5,000 HEATTECH products were personally delivered to residents, teachers, and students in Thuong Trach and Phong Nha. These items aim to facilitate daily activities and teaching amidst the harsh local winter. This activity follows the meaningful journey in Tuyen Quang in November 2025, fulfilling UNIQLO's commitment to donating 10,000 HEATTECH products to underprivileged communities within the year.

Additionally, 1,100 PUFFTECH padded jackets were gifted to children in both communes. As a practical and heartfelt gift for the New Year, these jackets provide extra joy and warmth for students on their daily journeys to school.
