Commencement for the construction of Hanoi Children Hospital

On the morning of October 27, Hanoi Health Department held a groundbreaking ceremony for construction of Hanoi Children Hospital. Chairman of Hanoi People`s Committee Nguyen The Thao and Deputy Minister of Health Nguyen Viet Tien have attended.

Director Health Department Nguyen Khac Hien said that Hanoi Children Hospital will be built on 7.2 hectares of land in Yen Nghia ward, Ha Dong district, according to Standard Category I for hospital with 500 inpatient beds. In the first phase of the project (200 beds) are made from 2015 to 2018 with total investment of 784.433 million, including items such as new clinic building blocks and outpatient treatment, industrial engineering sector Subclinical cases, logistical administrative block.


The policy of the city is building Children Hospital with complete service infrastructure, modern and high quality with priority development of care services, diagnostic and implementation of intensive professional treatment with high-tech; paving the way for the development of research and application of science and technology, advanced techniques serve the protection, care and health promotion for children in Hanoi and the provinces nearby.

Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Nguyen The Thao requirements Hanoi Health Department to direct the Project Management Board, the consultancy contractor, construction and installation of equipment concentrate manpower, material construction on schedule, ensuring the requirements of quality, safety, and efficiency savings under the plan properly. Besides, the Department of Health should take the initiative in the training, manpower arrangement to ensures good operational after putting into use.

Chairman Nguyen The Thao also requires departments and agencies of Ha Dong District People's Committee to support and assist the health sector in the implementation of projects, especially the guaranteed balance of capital for projects, to ensure security and order, safety.
