The concert provided the audience, especially the Vietnamese community living, working and studying in the RoK, with important information on life and cultural events all over the country.
KBS World Radio is RoK’s flagship public international broadcaster. Vietnamese is one of the 11 major languages broadcasts are produced in.
The programme “Toi yeu Han Quoc” (I love Korea) was the first Vietnamese- Korean bilingual programme to be launched in 2013, and has since been broadcast every Sunday.
By 2013, there were nearly 130,000 Vietnamese nationals living in the RoK, with 52,000 Vietnamese women married to Korean husbands, according to statistics published by the RoK Ministry of Security and Public Administration.
