Mr. Pham Quang Nghi, Hanoi Party Committee Secretary and Mr. Truong Quang Nghia, a member of Central Party Committee Secretary of Son La chaired the meeting between the Standing Committee of two provinces.
The two leaders continue to exchange information on the work of Party for building and strengthening the political system and to unify the content of cooperation. Since the mission of the delegation of Hanoi in Son La in late 2011, relations between Ha Noi and Son La has constantly expanded, bringing practical results, in particular.
Economically, Hanoi now has 13 investment promotion in Son La and 17 projects in various fields with a total registered capital of nearly 2,500 billion, of which many projects already in operation stability and handling thousands of jobs for local workers.
At the meeting, the opinion of the leaders of the two provinces that need to further strengthen exchanges of experience on the work of Party building, administration building, sharing intelligence social economy, creating favorable conditions for promotion, investment worthy to exploit the potential and strengths of each party.
Emphasizing the difference of the two cities, Hanoi is the center of politics, economy, culture and society, the largest transport hub country, and Son La province borders the northern area in agriculture, forestry and conditions vasting territory mild climate, Hanoi Party Secretary Pham Quang Nghi evaluate the differences that will supplement each other if appropriating for both local building a program cooperation and closing all the general planning on the basis of economic development of each party.
Therefore, on the basis of segregation of duties, individuals, agencies and units concerned should urgently embark on the implementation, specifies the partnership agreement, promotion of programs, projects to develop both localities.
