Founded in 2015 by composer Vu Nhat Tan, violinist Pham Truong Son and American conductor Jeff von der Schmidt, the Hanoi New Music Ensemble (HNME) – the first contemporary and independent chamber orchestra in Vietnam aims to bring Vietnamese and international contemporary music to local audience of Vietnam and bring Vietnamese contemporary music to the world.
Participating musicians of HNME in the concert are some of the finest classical musicians of Vietnam such as Pham Truong Son – Violin 1, Pham Mai Anh – Violin 2, Nguyen Trong Bang – Flute, Tran Thu Thuy – Viola, Nguyen Quoc Bao – Clarinet, Dao Tuyet Trinh – Cello, Pham Quynh Trang – Piano…
