Deputy PM Vu Duc Dam is leading a Vietnamese delegation to attend the UN General Assembly high-level meeting on HIV/AIDS in New York and also visit Atlanta June 8-12.
The Vietnamese delegation will participate in discussions to look for ways to combat AIDS and forge ahead cooperation in Vietnam’s AIDS prevention and control programs.
Deputy PM Dam will present an important speech at the plenary session of the conference and meet with leaders of international organizations on HIV/AIDS prevention and control.
Mr Dam will visit the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) under the US Department of Health and Human Services and the Emergency Operations Center (EOC).
