The X-Project competition, a digital citizenship challenge, is organized by the Hanoi Youth Union in partnership with MindX School of Technology and will run from May 15 to August 5.

The contestants, who will be divided into two teams participating in the Tech Summer training round, will experience working in teams to create technology products, learn interpersonal skills, and present ideas at MindX School of Technology. The organizers will select 1,000 participants for the semifinals and finals from the 500 excellent teams in the Tech Summer round. About 20 typical teams with impressive technology products will be selected to exhibit.

The prizes, worth a total of VND168 million (US$7,152), include two first prizes, two second prizes, two third prizes and six consolation prizes for each ranking.

The registration period is from May 15 to May 31, 2023 at 18:00 at https://xproject.hubglobal.network.

As part of the event, organizers hosted a STEAM Festival with dozens of booths showcasing a variety of physics, science, engineering, art, and math products to encourage students to experiment.

Many secondary-school students join the festival.

Nguyen Sieu Startup Club became the first member of the Hanoi Club Network of Startups, Innovation and Digital Transformation (HUB Network) after students from Nguyen Sieu middle and high schools presented sample technology projects.

According to Tran Quang Hung, deputy secretary of the Hanoi Youth Union, digital transformation covers all fields in Vietnam and around the world, becoming a useful playground for secondary school students and helping the young Vietnamese generation take the lead and develop new global languages and skills.

Hung has called on secondary and high schools to actively participate in supporting entrepreneurship and innovation activities, as this is an age with great potential for innovation and the ability to learn and accumulate knowledge in the best way.
