The 24-minute documentary with theme “Connecting Dreams” will be broadcast in December 2018 on Discovery channel across Asia and the Pacific and Discovery Africa.
Discovery Channel has decided to promote Vietnam for free by broadcasting the documentary titled “Connecting Dreams”. To finish the project, a crew from the Discovery Channel will travel to Vietnam on September 26 to film the final scenes.
“Connecting Dreams” tells about Vietnamese people who bring technologies to change the life of people in the least developed countries in Africa such as Tazania, Mozambique, etc.

The department has finalized a report on a CNN tourism promotion program which ran in 2017 and a collaboration plan in 2018. It has also worked with CNN on the cooperation program for the 2019 - 2021 period, which is considered as an effective method of popularizing the city as a world class destination.
The number of foreign visitors to Hanoi in the first eight months of 2018 is estimated at 3.8 million, a 19.8% increase from the same last year, according to the Hanoi Department of Tourism.
In August alone, over 2.2 million visitors arrived in Hanoi, an 8.2% increase from the same period last year. Of the total, 458,333 were foreign visitors, representing an on-year jump of 13%, 330,000 were domestic holidaymakers, a 14% from the same last year.
