It has increased trade promotions in Japan and Taiwan, and received foreign businesses seeking investment opportunities in the locality.

Japanese businesses now account for 28 new projects valued at US$315 million, making up 51.7% of total investment.

According to the provincial Department of Industry and Trade, this year Dong Nai has assisted 19 businesses to participate in trade fairs in Laos, Germany and other nations, attracting 30,000 international visitors and earning over VND300 million.

The province has also organized five business exhibitions, seven employee forums and 28 Vietnamese trade stands, which have helped to expand cooperative opportunities for local businesses and reduce inventories.

Dong Nai plans to carry out more investment promotion activities in Japan, Taiwan and the Republic of Korea. It encourages local businesses to elevate the province’s investment incentives and environment at domestic and foreign trade fairs.
