Ecopark’s annual Tet market featuring thousands of selected Tet goodies from 200 booths, traditional music performance, Dong Ho paintings and folk games.
Throughout our 4 previous editions, Ecopark Tet Market has become a popular gathering event for tens of thousands of visitors as well as Ecopark’s residents.
Taking part in our Tet festival, guests can enjoy traditional Vietnamese music such as Chèo, Quan họ, Chầu Văn, performed by professional artists. These traditional music activities will take place during the whole two days of the festival. Moreover, guests will have the chance to learn about the unique printing method of Dong Ho folk paintings, and also learn to create their own artworks in Dong Ho style under guidance by professional artists.
In addition, traditional children’s games such as ô ăn quan or learning to make chưng cakes will certainly bring a lot of joy and remind us of our childhood memories of celebrating Tết in the past.
During the weekend 14 & 15 January, there will be thousands of selected traditional Tet goodies for you to choose from, such as sausage (giò, chả), sticky rice, fragrant rice, green bean, chicken, fish, meat, fish sauce, dried bamboo, glass noodle, black mushroom, wood-ear fungus, black pepper, confectionery, wine, fruit, flower, plant, etc. coming from more than 200 booths famous for these specialties nationwide.
At Ecopark Tet Market, you can easily find specialties from other regions of the country as well, for example, Phu Quoc fish sauce, Ha Long shrimp paste, Hai Hau fragrant rice, Dien Bien sticky rice, Ben Tre coconut candy, Nam Dinh peanut candy, Hai Duong green bean cake, Da Lat dried fruit, O Long green tea, and a lot more.
Especially, Ecopark Tet Market will also be adorned with thousands of spring flowers and plants such as peach blossoms, kumquat trees, roses, daisies, to name but a few. Some of them are brought over all the way from Sa Pa and Da Lat.
