The host leader proposed the two countries beef up coordination to resolve shortcomings and swiftly put cooperation projects into operation to bring about practical benefits for their people. The Deputy PM also informed the host that at the Viet Nam-Laos Investment Cooperation Conference which drew many representatives from the two countries’ ministries, localities and businesses, the two sides pointed out to difficulties in collaboration and set forth measures to promote economic, trade and investment ties.
PM Dung emphasised that Vietnam and Laos hold great cooperation potential in the fields of economics, trade and investment. The two countries should intensify coordination to address shortcomings and swiftly put cooperation projects into operation to bring about practical benefits for their people, he suggested.
