Enjoying Southern dishes in the Capital

With the spread of Southern cuisine in the capital, tourists do not need to travel Saigon or southern provinces to enjoy specialties there, just in Hanoi- a beautiful capital, you can do it.

1. Broken Rice with Ribs

This is a favorite dish in Saigon with fragrant roasted ribs, delicious rice and tasty fish sauce. It is usually served with pickled vegetables.

2. Xeo Cake (sizzling cake)
 

Xeo cakes are not only famous in Saigon but also in Northern provinces. In Saigon, you can find this dish in sidewalk eateries but in Hanoi, you have to enter a restaurant to taste it. Xeo cake in Hang Bo street is most favorite location in Hanoi.

3. Quail egg fried with tamarind

This is also a favorite food in Saigon and attracts a lot of young people. In Hanoi, you can visit number 2, Trang Tien street, Hoan Kiem district, Hanoi

4. Mudskipper Hot Pot

Fresh mudskippers are selected for the hot pot. When mudskippers are cooked, vegetables are poured into. The mudskipper hot pot is described sour flavor. It is really suitable when served in winter.

5. Almond with Cheese Jelly and Lychee Sweet Soup

In the middle of 2013, the trend Almond with Cheese Jelly and Lychee Sweet Soup sprouted into existence from South Vietnam to North Vietnam. In Saigon, sellers sell 1,000 bowls of Almond with Cheese Jelly and Lychee Sweet Soup every day.
