Exciting experiences await at Tay Ninh Day in Hanoi

The upcoming event, Tay Ninh Day in Hanoi in 2023, will showcase the unique and rich identity of the Southern province through various exciting activities and experiences.

Tay Ninh Day in Hanoi will be held on Hoan Kiem Walking Street on October 7-8 to promote the Southern province of Tay Ninh.

According to Tran Anh Minh, Director of the Tay Ninh Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the provincial authorities have high expectations that it will become a prominent highlight in promoting Tay Ninh culture and tourism, and in turn attract investment for the socio-economic, cultural and tourism development of the province.

On October 7, the opening night will feature a unique art and drumming show. The program, which is expected to make a remarkable impression on Tay Ninh, will be broadcast live on radio and television in Hanoi and Tay Ninh.

Visitors will admire intangible cultural heritage such as don ca tai tu (southern instrumental music) and Chhay-dam Khmer drum dance, which is typical of Tay Ninh and the southern region.

Participants will also have the opportunity to interact with artisans and enjoy Tay Ninh shrimp salt, rice paper, and fruits, among other local specialties. The activities are expected to create a cheerful and vibrant festive space on Hoan Kiem Pedestrian Street.

Pictures of Tay Ninh's famous tourist attractions will be displayed for photo opportunities.

During the two-day event, visitors are invited to explore Tay Ninh's unique products and tourism services at more than 30 booths set up by 27 businesses along Le Thach and Le Lai Streets. The booths will be open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., giving visitors ample time to explore all that Tay Ninh has to offer.

Tay Ninh Day in Hanoi in 2023 is also a unique cultural and artistic exchange event where the beauty of the people, the land of Tay Ninh, and Hanoi's past and present will be vividly presented through a photo exhibition.
