The exhibition, which opened on November 2 at the Intercontinental Asiana Saigon Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City, highlights Vietnam’s regional and international integration as well as the local investment climate.
The event offers an opportunity for the participating businesses to promote their products and services while seeking domestic and foreign partners.
More than 300 photos featuring Vietnam’s economic achievements over the past 30 years of renewal are also being on display at the exhibition.
The event makes a good chance for localities occasion to introduce their economic achievements, along with their opportunities and potential for both domestic and international cooperation.
Speaking at the event, Deputy Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son said the exhibition is part of activities to realise the Government’s action plan aiming to promote the images of Vietnamese businesses, people, culture, investment opportunities, economic landscape and tourism in the eyes of international friends.
The Vietnam Summit 2016, scheduled to take place on November 3, will discuss various issues, including the nation’s position in the global economy, future of the manufacturing sector, rice production, industrial production and the investment environment.
The summit seeks to show international businesses that Vietnam is determined to comprehensively reform its economy in the next five years, build an incorruptible and constructive Government to serve the people and businesses, improve investment climate and encourage start-up spirit, the official stressed.
