On the morning of March 6th, the exhibition titled " Stories of the markets " opened in Ha Noi on the occasion of 104 - year anniversary of International Women`s Day.
Program was held by the Vietnam Women's Museum in collaboration with Health Bridge and Fresh Studio company. The exhibition will take place from March 6th to April 15th.
Through the exhibition, the organizers wish to raise awareness of the public about the essential role of markets to city's residents, calling on organizations, communities, policy makers and citizens to join hands together to preserve markets, contributing to the economic development, enhancing health and spiritual life for people from all walks of life.
The exhibition reflects the positive changes and challenges of traditional markets in the context of urbanization, sharing memories of the old market and the market at present with visitors and the story of Hanoians about markets through dimensional photos of buyers and sellers .
In addition, Vietnam Women's Museum in collaboration with finance organizations introduce open markets (from March 6th to March 9th) selling more than 40 common items, vegetables, fruits, dry goods, handicraft items and homeland gifts .
