Exploring Hanoi's Old Quarters with free tours of craft streets

Hanoi city recently offered four free tours of craft streets for tourists who will be provided with maps, tourist publications and information about Hanoi tourism sites

Hanoi Tourism Joint Stock Company (Vietnamtourism) has provided 4 free tours of craft streets in the Old Quarters for tourists on the occasion of the inauguratign of a Center for Tourist Information and Support at 28 Hang Dau street.

Each tour guided by competent students, running from 28 Hang Dau St through Hang Dao, Hang Bac, Hang Bo, Lan Ong, Hang Thiec, Hang Quat, Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square and Ba Kieu Temple lasts 30 minutes and departs at 9.30am, 10.15am, 2pm, 3pm and 4pm from Wednesday to Sunday (except holidays).
Besides, three other free tours will be launched in the coming time for tourists who want to learn more about Hanoi’s history and culture, typical architectural projects, combined East and West culture in the Old Quarters.
Visitors will be provided with maps, tourist publications and information about Hanoi tourism sites and other services (hotels, restaurants, transport, and entertainment spots).
Hanoi Department of Tourism and the Vietnam-Hanoi Tourism Joint Stock Company inaugurated a Center for Tourist Information and Support at 28 Hang Dau street on October 7.

The center provides the visitors with useful information about tours of Hanoi and is considered to be a bridge linking travel operators in the city.
It opens from 8am to 5pm throughout the week. With its staff being fluent in English, French, Chinese and Korean, the center hopes to bring its customers with useful information about tourist sites, restaurants, transportation, hotels, and entertainment centers in Hanoi. 
Maps and tourist publications are provided free of charge. Tourists can also get support in booking tours, air, train and car tickets as well as phone cards.
