A female Vietnamese photojournalist is showcasing her 45 photos featuring the beauty of Vietnamese women to raise funds for disadvantaged women in Cam Binh Commune in central Binh Thuan province’s La Gi Town, where the photos are on display.
Dang Kim Phuong, a photojournalist of the Vietnam News Agency, said during the opening ceremony in Cam Binh Resort on January 2 that the photos were taken during her trips to several provinces from northern to southern Vietnam, where she had chances to talk with numerous women.
The images of Vietnamese women going about their daily lives reflect her passion for photography and viewpoint of a female journalist.
For more than a decade, the passion has motivated her to compose hundreds of works on various topics, and women are the centre of her focus. The exhibition Beauty of Women runs through January 10 and is supported by Media & Travel NBC.
It is her first solo exhibition. She has had photos exhibited at several photo exhibitions organised by Vietnam Photographers' Association and others.
