Fireworks to be set off across nation to welcome Tet

All 63 cities and provinces across the country will set off fireworks at 0-0.15 am o­n Feb. 3 (the first day of the New Year o­n lunar calendar).

Funding for fireworks were contributed by local enterprises.

In Hanoi, all 29 locations will have fireworks set off with four high-range displays in Hoan Kiem Lake (Hoan Kiem district), Dong Da Lake (Dong Da district), Thang Loi Hotel (Tay Ho district) and Van Quan Lake (Ha Dong district).

Meanwhile, Ho Chi Minh City will have art performances of fireworks at eight locations.

In the Lunar New Year’s eve night, numerous art and cultural performances will also be held across the country.
