Fireworks to commemorate Unification Day in HCM city

​ On the occasion of 39-year Liberation Day of the South, Unification Day and May Day, The HCM City People`s Committee has approved a firework show for the upcoming holidays.

Along with fireworks, the city will also organize a variety of activities to celebrate the holidays: a lighting art performance on Le Duan Street, District 1 from April 25 through May 5; a photo exhibition celebrating 39 years of the liberation of the South at the parks of Lam Son and Chi Lang and Dong Khoi Street on April 25; a traditional boat race on April 27 on Tau Hu - Ben Nghe Canal; and a marathon of the armed forces on the morning of April 27 on Hoang Sa-Truong Sa Road.
 

During the two-day holiday, April 30 and May 5, there will be a special art show and talks with historical witnesses; art shows at Gia Dinh Park and September 23 Park, Pink Lotus Theatre, Gia Dinh Park 2, and district cultural houses throughout the city.
Accordingly, the high-range firework show will be held from 9pm to 9.15pm on April 30 at the head of the Thu Thiem Tunnel in District 2.
