Four FDI businesses licensed in Hai Duong

The management board of industrial parks in northern Hai Duong Province on July 10 granted investment licenses to four foreign-invested businesses.

The businesses include the Believe Zone joint stock Company with a total investment of US$800,000, the SD Global Company Limited with US$20 million and the Dusco Vina Steel Manufacturing Corporation with US$5 million, which are invested by investors from the Republic of Korea. The other project, funded by Seychelles’ investors, is worth US$15 million.

In the first half of 2014, the province has attracted US$390 million in foreign investment, 3.9 times higher than the same period in 2013. Especially, it saw several Foreign Direct Investment enterprises increasing their capital by US$88 million to expand their production.

The province is home to 271 projects invested by businesses from 23 countries and territories with a total registered capital of more than US$6.2 billion.

These businesses have created stable jobs for 13,000 workers and hired thousands of indirect laborers.
