Four universities in Hanoi signed strategic partnership agreement
Hanoi`s four universities affirm their strategic partnership and commit themselves to ensure long-term and sustainable cooperation.
Four Hanoi-based universities, including the University of Transport and Communications (UTC), the Hanoi University of Mining and Geology (HUMG), Thuy Loi University and the National University of Civil Engineering (NUCE), October 30 signed a agreement to promote strategic partnership among the members.
Under the agreement, the four universities affirm their strategic partnership and commit themselves to ensure long-term and sustainable cooperation.
Through cooperation, the four will support each other to promote the strength of each member in the field of activities in accordance with their orientation to serve education needs.
Specifically, they will develop cooperation in the fields of training, science and technology, student support activities, facilities, communication and education quality assurance.
In the field of training, they will cooperate to train and foster lecturers and specialists, exchange lecturers and experts to learn experiences among the members.
In terms of science and technology, the four will coordinate and develop plans, programs, projects and scientific research projects in line with the common interest; as well as setting up strong research groups and bidding for the projects from the provincial to the central level.
They will also coordinate activities to support students such as start-up activities, soft skills training, cultural activities, arts, sports, volunteering and so on.
In terms of facilities, they will cooperate in exploitation and effective use of the universities’ facilities including training facilities, classrooms, lecture halls, laboratories, conference rooms, electronic libraries, etc.
In terms of communication, the four universities will collaborate to build a communication network between the four, focusing on career counseling and admission counseling, media promoting their images.
In the field of education quality assurance, the four will cooperate, exchange experience in building quality culture, quality inspection of educational institutions and training programs.
The agreement is valid for five years from the date of signing and may be extended upon the agreement of the members.
