More than 170 exhibitors from 12 countries attended the November 5 kick-off of the annual Vietnam International Retail and Franchise Exhibition (VIETRF) in Ho Chi Minh City.
In addition, with in excess of 320 pavilions, this year’s event is the biggest in VIETRF history, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Tran Quoc Khanh said in a speech at the opening.
“The annual event affords prospective business owners and entrepreneurs the opportunity to meet face-to-face with representatives from well-established franchises,” said Khanh.

He said the franchising industry is a growing and important contributor to the nation’s economy and the event offers an ideal environment for thousands of eager prospects to get in at the ground level with highly reputable international franchisors.
Throughout the week, expo-goers at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre will have a chance to delve into an event designed to energize their entrepreneurial spirit with a wide array of seminars, workshops and other on-goings.
Featured exhibitors include Jollibee, Ministop, Effoc Cafe, World Franchise Associates, Uncle Bill, Snowee, Tous Les Jour along with exhibits featuring state-of-the-art machinery and equipment.
