Gala New Year Concert will held in Ho Chi Minh City

The opening show for Ho Chi Minh Ballet Symphony Orchestra and Opera’s new season will be held on 8th January 2017 at The Opera house.

This will be the most exciting musical gala ever.
Directed by the talented, well-known in Europe conductor Lê Phi Phi, the show consists of excerpts from famous operas. These excerpts – pearls of the world’s musical history according to Lê Phi Phi – come from different operas and all strongly impressive, but well linked to create the best experience for the audience.
The performance will start with Light Cavalry Overture of F.V.Suppe, following by the most loved: “Nessundorma” (None shall sleep) from Turandot of G. Puccini, “Habanera” from G.Bizert’s “Carmen”, “Brindisi” from G.Verdi’s “La Traviata”… and other well-known experts from Carmen, La Traviata, Lohengrin, Nabucco, Pagliacci…
The New Year concert is expected to be a feast, satisfying all classical music lovers. It will also kick-off a new season of high-quality performances and exciting projects for HBSO.
With the participant of Ho Chi Minh’s reputed artists: Cho Hae Ryong, Phạm Trang, Phạm Khánh Ngọc, Phạm Duyên Huyền, Trung Kiệt, Nguyễn Thu Hường…
