In his speech at the press conference, Roman Kuebler said that Oktoberfest Vietnam 2018 is the 26th anniversary of GBA’s biggest event of the year and marks the 5th cooperation between the GBA and JW Marriott Hanoi in organizing the traditional German cultural event.

“Beer, Music, Lederhosen and Dirndl – Experience the Original German Oktoberfest in Vietnam” is the theme of this year’s Oktoberfest Vietnam, the GBA’s vice chairman added.

The Oktoberfest Vietnam 2018 will present German cuisine including sausages, sauerkraut, pork knuckles and pretzels, imported German beer and traditional German games. Authentic German music will be performed by the Anton Showband, a traditional Oktoberfest band which has played concerts worldwide, Roman Kuebler said.

He emphasized that the Oktoberfest Vietnam 2018 is expected to welcome more than 9,000 guests, representing the local and expat business community. Coming to the Oktoberfest, guests can enjoy a buffet of premium German cuisine that will delight and excite the tastebuds, as well as free-flow premium beers in their very own Oktoberfest beer mug. Authentic music and entertaining show-acts are performed by the popular Munich-based ‘AntonShow Band’.

There is no doubt that JW Marriott Hanoi is definitely the best and biggest venue in Hanoi, with the stunning scenery to host one of the most successful events, highlighting the detail-oriented services provides from our experienced chefs, said David Duffy, director of Event Management at JW Marriott Hanoi.

In the 5th year, JW Marriott Hanoi will continue to serve a variety of Bavarian specialties typically associated with Oktoberfest including German sausages, pretzels and of course - a mug of cold beer, along with fun games and prize draws, David Duffy added.
