THE HANOI TIMES— Hanoi’s iconic Hoan Kiem Lake will come alive with music, culture and color as the German Festival (Deutschlandfest) unfolds from October 17 to 19, marking 50 years of diplomatic relations between Germany and Vietnam .
The Deutschlandfest 2025 will showcase Germany legacies this weekend in Hanoi.
Titled “Celebrating Joint Development Cooperation,” the festival honors half a century of friendship, shared values and cooperation between the two nations.
The event promises a vibrant blend of tradition and innovation, reflecting not only Germany’s cultural spirit but also its deepening ties with Vietnam across the fields of development, education, environment and business.
This year, Deutschlandfest in Vietnam will showcase Germany's legacies with around 40 German organizations and companies presenting interactive exhibitions, cultural displays, science showcases and German-Vietnamese culinary delights.
A highlight of the festival is the interactive exhibition cube, inviting visitors to explore Germany’s development cooperation through creative, hands-on experiences and other engaging activities.
Meanwhile, a lineup of cultural activities and exhibitions will unfold from October 18 to October 19.
