In January, foreign businesses directly invested US$88.1 million into projects in Hai Duong northern province, up 20% compared to the same period last year, according to the province’s Department of Planning and Investment.
US$78.1 million from this amount was added to the 4 existing projects.
In 2015, Hai Duong strives to attract a total FDI capital of US$200 million, including US$150 million for new projects and an additional fund of US$50 million for existing ones.

The province is now strengthening trade promotion with multinational corporations and co-ordinating with ministries and sectors to remove procedural obstacles for investors to facilitate their operation.
Currently, 292 FDI projects from 24 countries and territories with a total registered capital of US$6,481 million are being implemented in Hai Duong province, creating more than 140,000 jobs.
