“Hanoi 2017 - Cooperation, Investment and Development” conference to be organized
Hanoi People’s Committee has just released the Plan No. 95/KH-UBND on organizing a conference themed “Hanoi 2017 – Cooperation, Investment and Development”.
The conference aims at meeting with investors, enterprises, representatives of several cities all over the world which have cooperation with Hanoi, representatives of embassies, commercial counseling agencies, representative offices of foreign investors, associations, domestic and international organizations to strengthen the attraction of domestic and international investments by effectively deploying investment promotion programs, commerce, tourism into the capital city; continuing introducing the city’s potentials, chances of investment.
In terms of contents, the conference will announce results of socio-economic development in Hanoi in 2016 and the second quarter of 2017; evaluate the realizing of orientations, contents, commitments of the capital city in the conference on “Hanoi 2016 - Cooperation, Investment and Development” held on June 4, 2016.
In addition, the event will also introduce key targets and a list of projects calling for investment for the 2017-2020 period; consult good experience, technology, solutions to develop Hanoi toward civilization, integration and sustainable development; sign Memorandum of Understanding on investing, developing commerce, tourism and implementing social welfare programs with organizations, associations, investors, enterprises; give a decision on approving project proposal, a report on researching feasibilities of projects and a decision on guidelines of investment projects; honor individuals, organizations, enterprises, domestic and foreign enterprises having great contributions to socio-economic development of the Capital city.
