The conference includes some main contents, including: Informing delegates on the socio-economic development of Hanoi in 2016 and first half of 2017. Evaluating the realizing of orientations, contents, commitments of the capital city in the conference “Hanoi 2016 - Cooperation, Investment and Development” held on June 4, 2016. Consultation on experiences, technology and solutions to develop Hanoi into a smart city of international integration and sustainable development. Signing memorandums of understanding, cooperating with organizations, associations, investors and enterprises on investment, trade, tourism development, implementation of social security programs. Issuing decisions approving project proposals, project feasibility study reports and decisions on investment project guidelines; commendation and recognition of individuals, organizations and enterprises in the country and abroad, achievements and contributions to the socio-economic development of the city.
This is the opportunity for Hanoi to meet Vietnamese and international investors, businesses, representatives of some cities around the world which have cooperative relationship with Hanoi; representatives of embassies, commercial counseling agencies, representative offices of foreign investors, Vietnamese and international associations and organizations to enhance domestic and international investment attraction through the effective implementation of investment, trade and tourism promotion in Hanoi, continuing promoting the potential and investment opportunities of the capital city. Especially, the conference also draws the participation of over 600 domestic and international investors, enterprises.
Especially, on this occasion, Hanoi also introduces key targets and a list of investment projects to call for investment in the 2017-2020 period. This is an attractive investment opportunity for domestic and foreign investors. Under the framework of the event, the city will sign Memorandums of Understanding (MoU) and agreements with investors and enterprises on trade, investment and tourism development as well as social security programs.
