With over 100 booths, the Hanoi Agriculture Fair 2020 attracts the participation of a large number of enterprises from Hanoi and 26 provinces and cities, including Hoa Binh, Dien Bien, Ha Nam, Quang Tri Nghe An, Tuyen Quang, Hai Phong, among others.
During the event, firms would introduce farm produce, specialties and products under the One Commune One Product (OCOP) program, which honors prominent domestic goods.

Vice Director of HPA Nguyen Thi Mai Anh said the Hanoi Agriculture Fair 2020 offers an opportunity for local enterprises in Hanoi and other provinces to promote their brands and look for potential business partners.
As such, enterprises have chances to enhance their competitiveness and improve product quality, in turn making it possible for their products to be sold in major distribution networks, including that of AEON Japan.
Products favored by customers would help their suppliers become partners with AEON in the coming time, stated Mrs. Anh.

The Hanoi Agriculture Fair is part of a number of programs under the cooperation agreement between the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Hanoi People’s Committee and AEON Japan. Under this agreement, AEON is committed to increasing sales of Vietnam’s goods through AEON’s distribution network to US$500 million in 2020 and US$1 billion by 2025.
The Hanoi Agriculture Fair 2020 will run until November 9 at AEON Mall Long Bien, and will be held at AEON Mall Ha Dong from November 19 to 23.
Last year, the Hanoi Agriculture Fair held at AEON Mall Long Bien attained total revenue of over VND6 billion (US$260,000) after four days of the event.
