Hanoi authority to focus on forest management, protection and development
Under the Official Letter 7964/VP-KT, the Office of Hanoi People’s Committee requests relevant agencies and departments to carry out Resolution 71/NQ-CP of the Government on implementing Directive 13-CT/TW.
The Hanoi People’s Committee received official letter of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development on implementing Resolution 71/NQ-CP of the Government on carrying out Directive 13-CT/TW dated January 12, 2017 of the Secretariat of the Central Committee Communist Party on increasing Party leadership in forest management, protection and development.
Accordingly, in order to implement the resolution effectively, the Ministry requests People’s Committees of cities and provinces under the Central Government to take following actions:
Making a detailed plan on implementing Resolution 71/NQ-CP, fulfilling criteria of sustainable forestry development of localities; add tasks for 2017 stipulated in the resolution into programs and plans for 2017; add the tasks in the resolution into working programs and plans of agencies, units and localities in 2018;
Popularizing content of Directive 13-CT/TW and Resolution 71/NQ-CP; act as advisor to the Hanoi Party Committee on popularizing the directive and resolution among officers and Party members of Party units, especially units at grass roots; conduct supervision and inspection; recognize, and honor individuals and collectives who have excellent performance, and severely punish violations; submit report to Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development every 6 months and annually, so that the latter sum up information and report to the Government.
In response to the document, the Hanoi People’s Committee requests Department of Agriculture and Rural Development in cooperation with relevant agencies, units, People’s Committees of districts and towns having forest to study instruction document of the Ministry, prepare draft document of the People’s Committee, and submit it by September 5.
