250 publishing brands gather at Hanoi Book Fair

The ninth Hanoi Book Fair will be held in September under the theme "Hanoi: Capital of Culture and Heroes - City for Peace".

The Hanoi Book Fair  will be held from September 27 to 29 in the pedestrian zone of Dinh Tien Hoang Street, bringing together 250 booths of book companies and publishers from all over the country.

With the theme "Hanoi: Capital of Culture and Heroes - City of Peace", the Book Fair is hosted by the Hanoi People's Committee to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the capital's Liberation Day (October 10), the 25th anniversary of Hanoi's designation as a UNESCO "City for Peace", and the 50th anniversary of the Hanoi International Book Fair.

The Book Fair's purpose is to develop the reading culture, encourage reading habits, and stimulate reading movements in the community to build a learning society of civilized people in Hanoi.

The book fair will include book exhibitions, book presentations, book launches, exchanges between authors and readers, and copyright trading.

Several foreign publishers with offices and partners in Vietnam, foreign diplomatic missions in Hanoi, and representatives of publishing associations in the region and the world will also participate in the event.

Book companies are expected to organize exchange activities, reading experiences, and book discounts of up to 50-70%, as well as many attractive giveaways for readers.

The Book Fair is held annually in the capital and has become a must-visit destination for book lovers. This year is the ninth edition.
