Trinh Nhat Minh, a nine-year-old boy from Hanoi, won the fourth season of the Voice Kid Vietnam after beating three other finalists on the finale on October 29 night.

Minh inherited his great passion for singing from his father, a cheo (traditional opera) artist of the Hanoi Cheo Theatre. He delivered an excellent performance during the finale where he staged an extract of the Cheo play Phu Thuy Bat Ma (Witch Catches the Ghosts).
Minh’s skillful singing techniques and acting skills in the traditional art genre were revealed throughout his performance, which received abundant compliments from all the judges.
Minh also sang Thanh Pho Mien Quan Ho (The City of the Region of Love) solo, before singing a duet with his coach Dong Nhi. The duo shared the stage to sing We Belong Together, which is featured on Nhi’s newest album.
He received 300 million VND (13,300 USD) for the first prize.
The runner-up titles were awarded to nine-year-old boy Thuy Binh and his team-mate 10-year-old Russian girl Milana, both from the team of singer Vu Ca Tuong; and to eight-year-old girl Mai Anh from the team of singer Noo Phuoc Thinh. Each runner-up received a 50 million VND (2,200 USD) each.
