Hanoi Creative Design Festival 2003 to take place in mid-November

This year's cultural event focuses on the Red River, the vital thread of Hanoi's historical, cultural, and socio-economic values.

The Hanoi Creative Design Festival 2023 themed "Flow", to be held from November 17 to 26, is expected to bring to life the Hang Dau Water Tower, Long Bien Bridge, and the industrial facilities of Gia Lam Railway Station, all heritage sites in the capital.

The experience route of Hanoi Creative Design Festival 2023 will emphasize the connection between the two sides of the river and the historic Long Bien Bridge, while highlighting the "specialties" of culture and history in the districts along the two banks, towards sustainable development.

This year's event will include a series of seminars, exhibitions, contests, performances, and more, connecting different areas of creativity to celebrate creative ideas and inspiration, enhance knowledge, and discuss the potential and future trends in creative design.

The Hanoi Creative Design Festival 2023 will officially kick off on November 17, 2023 at Gia Lam Train Factory - a new, exciting cultural and creative complex for Hanoi's youth.

The organizer hopes that the festival will continue to attest to the vitality, creative power, and identity of Hanoi; encourage the formation of creative communities; multidisciplinary links between cultural industries such as architecture, visual arts, performance arts, design; and develop creative platforms to promote cultural resources, including Hanoi's traditional culture.

This annual cultural event is hosted by the Hanoi People's Committee and the Vietnam Association of Architects, and organized by the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports and Architecture Magazine in cooperation with the UNESCO Representative Office in Hanoi, UN-Habitat. It aims to realize the initiatives and commitments with UNESCO when Hanoi becomes a member of the Creative Cities Network.

This attractive creative space for pedestrians was built on the shore of Hoan Kiem Lake. The project was part of the Hanoi Creative Design Festival 2022.
