On April 23, Chairman of Hanoi People`s Committee Nguyen The Thao and Vice Chairman Le Hong Son met with foreign delegations and discussed concerned issues with the aim to boost bilateral cooperation and development.
At the reception of Peruvian Ambassador to Vietnam Carlos Berninzon, Chairman Nguyen The Thao and the Ambassador expressed their pleasure at Vietnam - Peru friendship that has been continuously fostered in the past time.
The Ambassador highly appreciated Vietnam's development achievements. He also highly valued the two Vietnamese vanguard companies, Viettel and Petro Vietnam, for investing in Peru, contributing to develop the Peruvian economy.
The Ambassador assured the other development potentials between the two countries in various fields, such as the gas supple for Peru.
Agreeing with ambassador’s suggestions, Chairman Nguyen The Thao emphasized that both the nations have similarities in facing challenges of harsh economic situation in the world.
The Chairman hoped that Peru would find our chances to promote investment of the Vietnamese key products. He wished to boost the mutual diplomatic relationship, facilitating people in the two countries to exchange, cooperate and share.
In the same afternoon, Vice Chairman of Hanoi People’s Committee Le Hong Son received Chang Ho Ick, President of Association of People Loving Vietnam in the Republic of Korea (VESAMO).
VESAMO President Chang Ho Ick said Vietnam had left good impressions and affections with the VESAMO delegation, including Korea officials, university professors, businessmen, investors as well as students in Vietnam.
They have not only invested in Vietnam but also actively have been doing social charity, tightening the friendly relation between the two nations, especially with Hanoian citizens.
Applauding the VESAMO visit, Vice Chairman Le Hong Son affirmed the Vietnam – Korea good relationship in the sectors of economy, culture, and investmentm etc.
The Vice Chairman highly appraised the social contributions of VESAMO members. He also wished that VESAMO would continue to call for investment, share experience in the environmental management and remediation of rivers and lakes, reinforce cultural exchange, aiming to tie up the friendship, mutual cooperation for peace and development between Vietnam and Korea.
