A number of special activities and attractive promotions will be offered at Vietnam Airlines Festa with the theme “Lunar New Year Festival” in Hanoi on February 23 and 24.

On this occasion, Vietnam Airlines will deploy “A Journey to Buddha Land” program. It will launch promotions on the Hanoi – Myanmar, Hanoi – Laos, Hanoi – Cambodia routes with prices from VND209,000 (US$8.9) - not including tax.
The airliner will also present gifts to domestic flight ticket buyers. Other businesses, including Jetstar Pacific Airlines, Vinpearl, VinOasis and VinPearl Discovery will also attend the event with promotion programs.
In addition, visitors will have a chance to enjoy art programs and folk games, including walking on stilts, drum beating and calligraphy art.
Earlier, the Hanoi People’s Committee also coordinate with Vietnam Airlines to organize Dragon Boat Racing Festival 2019 on February 16, attracting more than 700 professional and amateur racers who made up 43 domestic and international teams.
Professional competitors came from China, Malaysia, Singapore, Laos, and Hong Kong, as well as various different cities and provinces from across Vietnam. The participants are divided into two categories: one for professionals, and another for amateurs during the two-day event.
The race is part of activities to realize a cooperation agreement on cultural and sport development in the city between the Hanoi People’s Committee and Vietnam Airlines.
