Hanoi Mayor Nguyen Duc Chung suggested that Siemens Healthineers set up headquarter in the city during his working trip to Europe.
A Hanoi delegation led by Mayor Nguyen Duc Chung on June 21 (local time) visited Siemens Healthineers’ headquarters in Forcheim, where they were hosted by the firm's CEO Bernd Montag along with his associates.
At the meeting, CEO Bernd Montag updated the strategies as well as latest technologies of Siemens Healthineers.
With more than 48,000 dedicated employees in over 70 countries, the firm also has partnerships with 90% of healthcare firms worldwide, while their systems welcome patients getting in touch with every hour.
The CEO also briefed about their development targets as well as notable technologies including Bio-matrix technologies, Artificial Intelligence (AI) application in treatment, etc.
For his part, Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Nguyen Duc Chung thanked the warm reception offered by the host while hailing the high-tech products of the firm. Consequently, the Hanoi official proposed eight cooperation contents with Siemens Healthineers.
Specifically, both sides will join hands in examining hospitals of all levels; planning and classifying the investment fund over respective strengths of each treatment facility; trainning the human resources; digitalizing and conducting statistical analysis to bring out the most effective treatment measures, applying the Al and IT in treatment, etc.
Besides, Mayor Chung requested Siemens Healthineers to set up a representative office and vast-scale maintenance center in Hanoi, paving the way for further cooperation between the city and the German firm.
