Hanoi Gift Show 2017: Facilitating handicrafts export

With the scale of 650-700 booths, Hanoi Gift Show 2017 will have the participation of 250 exhibitors from more than 30 provinces in Vietnam and 8-10 countries in the world.

Hanoi Gift Show 2017 co-organized from in October 2017 at the Exhibition, Economic and Commerce transaction area  by Hanoi Department of Industry & Trade and Hanoi Promotion Agency (HPA). In order for importers to get information for appropriate products, the Fair organizer has collaborated with enterprises to support 120 importers to directly go to manufacturing facilities of enterprises in Hanoi and other provinces/cities. After observing at sites, 7 importers have decided to sign export contracts during the event. 
 
Foreign investors interested in the Fair.
In different to local customers, foreign importers have high demands not only for design and product quality, but also for packaging, label and origin. As such, producers have to ensure materials, production chain and facilities to meet requirements with labor safety, food safety and environmental friendly.

There will be six main product categories at the fair: Home décor and Handicrafts: There will be a very extensive variety of home décor and handicraft products. They are functional for indoor and outdoor booth, using different materials made from natural fibers and a mixture of materials such as rattan, bamboo, sea grass, water hyacinth, ceramics, lacquer, wood, metal, stone, fabrics, textile, paper, poly resin, resin……; Indoor and Outdoor furniture: Vietnam is the second largest furniture exporter in Asia. At Hanoi Gift Show 2017, you will discover the latest trends and a wide range of indoor and outdoor furniture made in various styles such as classic, colonial, rustic, contemporary…;

Home textiles and Embroidery: Vietnam home textiles made of silk, cotton and hemp by skill and dexterous weavers are widely known. Bed linens, bath towels, dresses, cushions, scarves…all are appealing to customers from every corner of the world.; Gifts and Ethnic items: Hanoi Gift Show 2017 will introduce products from Veitnamese ethnic minorities, being supplied by fair trade organizations. All of these products will make your assortment unique and different from other suppliers, from traditional dolls, hemps textile with indigo dye and the batik technique, soap nuts…to beautiful Eri-silk scarves….; Personal accessories: Vietnam offers many exquisite personal accessories, including hand crafted jewellery like necklaces, bracelets, earrings….that are unique and one-of-a kind from different types of materials such as silver, bronze, stone, horn, shell…..There is also a wide range of silk scarves, handbags, hats, clogs…always designed with the latest trends in mind.; and other craft products.

With 650 – 700 booths to display goods of 245 exhibitors, the Fair is organized with the main purpose of creating the best opportunity for Vietnam handicraft, home décor, gift enterprises to meet, establish contacts and relationships with potential national and international buyers. This is the first time that the entire exhibiting space will be impressively designed in “open” style to ensure the high aesthetic level of an international trade fair.

During 4 days of the event, there were 12,135 visitors from local and abroad come to visit and look for working partners, which included 615 foreign importers coming from 32 countries and regions in the world. Besides, the Fair also attracted 3,000 commercial customers, such as enterprises, super markets, retailers, restaurants, hotels and resorts. By the end of the event, there were 1,265 transactions, Memorandum of Understandings and Cooperation, and contracts between visitors and enterprises.
