The well-equipped incubator gathers excellent IT entrepreneurs and experts who assist startups in running their businesses.
The launch of the incubator reflects the municipal authorities’ determination to build a startup ecosystem and support local startup businesses towards developing Hanoi into an innovative startup capital, said Vu Tan Cuong, Director of the Hanoi information technology and communications trading centre.
On the occasion, many prestigious partners signed cooperation agreements with the incubator’s management board, including Microsoft Vietnam, Hanoi Telecom and CMC Telecom.
More than 200 delegates from the Government, ministries, centrally-run agencies, Hanoi authorities, foreign embassies, international organisations, universities, research institutes, business associations, investment funds and start-up groups are expected to join the event, making it the largest of its kind in the capital city.
The workshop will also seek ways to step up economic, scientific, trade and investment cooperation between the two countries, he noted. A cooperation programme between the Hanoi Business Incubator, the Vietnam Innovative Start-up Accelerator programme and Israel partners is due to be signed on this occasion.
