Hanoi is committed to create favorable conditions for Thailand enterprises
On the afternoon of December 22, Hanoi Chairman Nguyen Duc Chung had a meeting with Thailand Ambassador Panyarak Poolthup on the occasion of his term-end in Vietnam.
At the meeting, the two sides expressed their pleasure at Vietnam - Thailand relations that has continuously been strengthened in recent years. Up to now, Thailand is the 10th market with direct investment to Vietnam. Of which, more than 30 Thailand companies are operating and investing in Ha Noi.
According to Ambassador Panyarak Poolthup, the event of ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) formed at the end of this year will continue to open up growth opportunities for bilateral trade relations.
Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee expressed the wish after the end of its tenure, Ambassador Panyarak Poolthup will continue to contribute to the promotion of commercial relations between the two countries, especially the relationship between the Hanoi and Bangkok.
Besides, Chairman Nguyen Duc Chung confirmed that the City will direct the agencies and departments in the City create favorable conditions for Thailand businesses to invest to Hanoi.
Expressing delighted with the Hanoi People's Committee Chairman, Ambassador Panyarak Poolthup shared that for two-year term, he has witnessed Thailand - Vietnam close relations and strong growth of Hanoi.
Accordingly, Thailand Ambassador confirmed that after the end of the term and received his new position at Thailand Ministry of Foreign Affairs, he will continue efforts to maintain contributions to promote investments between the two countries, as well as friendship the two relations of the two sides, including Hanoi - Bangkok relationship served as the essential foundation.
