Hanoi launches product showcase spaces linked to Spring Flower Fairs ahead of Tet

The program ranks among the city’s key trade promotion activities, aiming to stimulate domestic consumption, stabilize the market.

THE HANOI TIMES — Hanoi will host a series of exhibition spaces showcasing signature products in connection with the 2026 Lunar New Year Spring Flower Fairs from February 6 to February 11.

The program ranks among the city’s key trade promotion activities. It aims to stimulate domestic consumption, stabilize the market, and promote high-quality Vietnamese products ahead of Tet (Lunar New Year).

The events will take place across four Hanoi communes: Minh Chau, O Dien, Kieu Phu and Lien Minh.

In Minh Chau Commune, the exhibition will take place at Minh Chau Market with about 100 booths. Kieu Phu Commune will host an event of a similar scale.

O Dien Commune will set up about 60 booths at the Lien Trung–Lien Ha flower garden, while Lien Minh Commune will organize around 30 booths near Road N4 in Tho Xuan Cluster 5.

A highlight of this year’s series is the harmonious blend of commercial activities with traditional cultural elements.

Organizers will carefully design and decorate the exhibition spaces to vividly recreate images of traditional and modern Tet celebrations in Hanoi and other regions, creating a culturally rich shopping experience.

According to Nguyen The Hiep, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade, the program helps boost product consumption and promotes the capital’s image, people, tourism potential and cultural values.

The program also allows businesses to engage directly with consumers, gain insights into Tet shopping trends and expand exposure for One Commune One Product (OCOP) items and traditional craft village goods.

The exhibitions will attract enterprises, cooperatives and producers from Hanoi and many other localities, including Hung Yen, Haiphong, Quang Ninh, Bac Ninh, Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa, Lao Cai, Son La, Nghe An, Danang and Khanh Hoa.

Products on display will range from agricultural produce and processed foods to regional specialties, three- to five-star OCOP products and handicrafts.

Alongside these events, from now until February 11, the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade is coordinating with the O Cho Dua Ward People’s Committee to organize a Tet product promotion space themed “Peaceful Spring” and a spring flower market.

Similar experiences take place at Dong Da Mound and Phung Khoang Park from February 4 to February 8, with about 30 booths at each site.
