Hanoi leads the country in number of national excellent students

Hanoi Amsterdam Gifted High School has 84 excellent students with 11 first prizes.

According to a list of candidates who won the national excellent student prizes in 2019, announced by the Department of Quality Management under Ministry of Education and Training, Hanoi keeps leading the nation in the number of national excellent students, with 134 winners.

In particular, Hanoi Amsterdam Gifted High School has 84 excellent students with 11 first prizes, including one first prize in Mathematics, one first prize in Physics, three first prizes in Chemistry, one first prize in Biology, three first prizes in English, and two first prizes in French.

Nghe An ranks second with 90 winners, of them two won first prizes in Geography and Biology. Ha Tinh ranks third with 88 students winning prizes, including one first prize in Mathematics, three first prizes in History.

Some provinces with many winners include Nam Dinh, Hai Phong, Hai Duong, Ho Chi Minh City, Bac Ninh, Phu Tho, Bac Giang, Hung Yen, among others.
