Transport Ministry held a ceremony to put Hoang Minh Giam-Nguyen Chanh flyover into traffic in Hanoi on May 21.

Attending the ceremony were Deputy Minister of Transport Nguyen Hong Truong and Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Nguyen The Hung.
Hoang Minh Giam-Nguyen Chanh overpass was under the supervision of Thang Long Corporation.
The project was used the remaining capital of Ring Road No.3’s second period with the support of Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
The overpass that has the total investment of 148 billion VND, spans a length of 595.7 metres with two nine-metre lanes. The vehicles are allowed to run at speeds of up to 40km per hour on the flyover.
Up to now, Hanoi has put 8 steel flyovers into operation, including: Tay Son - Chua Boc, Lang Ha - Thai Ha, Le Van Luong - Lang, Nguyen Chi Thanh - Lieu Giai, Nguyen Chi Thanh - Tran Duy Hung, Tran Khat Chan - Dai Co Viet and Nam Hong - Mai Dich - Noi Bai and Hoang Minh Giam - Nguyen Chanh.
Hoang Minh Giam-Nguyen Chanh flyover is expected to reduce traffic congestion at the Trung Hoa intersection of Cau Giay district.
