The 5th Vietnam international book fair kicked off at Thong Nhat park, Hanoi on September 10.
Over 100 domestic and foreign publishers are showcasing their products at 200 stalls during the event.
The exhibition will display more than 3,000 publications featuring Vietnam’s development and integration process, the country’s achievements after 30 years of Doi Moi (reform) as well as works introducing other countries in Southeast Asia.
Various activities will take place during the fair, including introductions to the latest publications, promotions of proprietary right exchanges, publishing cooperation, conferences, talks and introductions of Vietnamese tangible and intangible heritages, among others.
Products from some 20 prestigious publishers are being showcased at the fair.
The fair has been held twice annually since 2013 with the aim to boost the joy of reading, promoting book copyright transactions and international cooperation in the field.
