The Hanoi Promotion Festival 2025 gathers 100 booths and over 1,000 retail points offering discounts of up to 50%, aiming to promote green, cashless consumption and support the “Vietnamese prioritize Vietnamese goods” campaign.
THE HANOI TIMES — The Hanoi Promotion Festival 2025 kicked off on October 31 at Times City in Vinh Tuy Ward, featuring major discounts and over 1,000 retail points to boost green, cashless consumption and support Vietnamese brands through sustainable shopping experiences.
Under the theme “Joyful Promotions, Exciting Shopping”, the festival runs until November 5 as part of Hanoi’s annual concentrated promotion program. aiming to encourage sustainable, modern shopping habits and aligns with the national campaign “Vietnamese People Prioritize Using Vietnamese Goods”.

At the opening ceremony, Nguyen The Hiep, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade, said that the program will “boost domestic market development, enhance business competitiveness and shape a civilized, modern consumer culture.”
He noted that this year’s edition focuses on sustainable trade practices, including promoting green, smart consumptionand e-commerce-based promotions to reduce social costs.
The festival features a wide range of brands across fashion, technology, consumer goods, regional specialties and OCOP products, offering discounts of up to 50%.
Shoppers can explore themed zones such as the “Technology Street” and the “Smart Living Experience Zone”,where they can try digital tools, experience modern retail solutions and support Vietnamese-made products in the “Proudly Made in Vietnam” area.
E-commerce and fintech partners such as Shopee, Vinaphone, Momo and major banks will take part in this program, showcasing advanced payment methods including QR codes, one-touch transactions and app-based ordering to make cashless shopping easier and safer.
Beyond Times City, promotional activities are taking place at more than 1,000 sales points across major retail chains and supermarkets such as Central Retail (GO!, Topmarkets), BRGmart, Winmart, Aeon, Lotte, Co.opmart, MediaMart, Pico, Soi Bien, HomeFarm and Hacom. Thousands of products are being discounted by over 50% with additional gifts and incentives for cashless payments.
Shoppers using the Xanh SM electric vehicle service will receive over 20,000 promotional codes worth up to 30% off rides throughout November, encouraging eco-friendly travel and supporting Hanoi’s emission reduction goals.
According to the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade, the promotion program will strengthen links between production and consumption, stimulate retail revenue growth and contribute to the city’s target of achieving over 8% GRDP growth this year, in line with Directive No. 04 dated March 28, 2025.
The achievement reflects Hanoi’s strong commitment to digital transformation, advancing innovation, governance and technology integration across all economic and social sectors.
