According to reports, authorities basically completed preparation and ensure power supply, security and order for the election.

Speaking at the conference, Chairman Nguyen Duc Chung recognized efforts of the authorities and asked them to ensure security, popularization and clean environment for the election. The election provides an opportunity for citizens to fulfill their responsibility and promote national solidarity. Through elections, the Vietnamese people show their determination to defend national independence and territorial integrity and continue pursuing national development and international integration.

There will be four lists of candidates for deputies of central, provincial, district, and communal levels for voters to choose from. The success of the election depends on voters’ sense of responsibility and wisdom.

Voter Nguyen Viet Thuy of North Tu Liem district, Hanoi, said “Each of the millions of votes is very important in electing those who will take care of the people and the country. I hope all elected candidates will work for the people’s interests. A representative of the people should be honest and straightforward, should understand the people’s needs and contribute to national socio-economic development”.

By voting, citizens will express their trust in the representatives they elect who will help build a State of the people, for the people, and by the people and move the country forward on the path of industrialization, modernization, and global integration.
