Cinemas in the city began to welcome visitors again and adhere to the regulation on limited occupancy.
From May 9, cinemas in Hanoi readmit audiences again after a period of shutdown to prevent and combat Covid-19.

On May 9, facilities of the CGV cinema chain such as CGV Vincom Royal City, CGV Nguyen Chi Thanh, CGV Vincom Ba Trieu and BHD star Cineplex Pham Ngoc Thach, National Cinema Center are back in action with show time starting at 8 am.
Movie theaters are required to ensure safe interpersonal distance. At the National Cinema Center or BHD Pham Ngoc Thach theater in Dong Da district, disinfectant solution is made available while at the CGV cinema system, movie goers have to keep a distance of two meters among them while queuing at the ticket counters. Every two empty seats are arranged next to two occupiable seats. The movie house staff will be present at each row to show viewers their places.
Hanoian Dang Duc Hoang from Ha Dong district told Kinh te & Do thi: “As soon as I learned that cinemas in Hanoi would reopen, I immediately book online tickets and go with my friends."

Many people in the cinema were joyful since the cinemas could reopen at a better time than at the weekend.
Director of the National Cinema Center Nguyen Danh Duong said that all theater staff adhere to the requirement of wearing face masks and are prepared to handle cases of movie-goers with suspected Covid-19 symptoms.
Limited activities at relic sites
According to the Management Board of Ha Pagoda in Cau Giay district and Tay Ho Pagoda in Tay Ho district, from the full moon day of April (May 7), places of worship have been allowed to reopen but required not to hold any mass activity.
Chief of the Management Board of Tay Ho Pagoda Truong Tien Hoi told Kinh te & Do thi: “In addition to the full moon day, tourists visited the place more sparsely than before. The management board also work to prevent gathering while adhering the regulation of not hosting activities of mass concentration of people.”
