The key to achieve the goal of building a high-quality school model is international cooperation in order to get access to the most advanced education in the world and working with selected prestigious international partners.
Hanoi has been striving to build a high-quality school model which is unique of the capital city, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training Le Ngoc Quang said at the conference "High-quality schools in the 4.0 era: Insights, Challenges and Tools” on May 12.
According to Quang, Hanoi has about two million students and 3,000 schools, and as Vietnam’s leading city, Hanoi is determined to pioneer in the innovation process.

“We have worked out the criteria and legal framework to operate this mechanism to build a high-quality training model which is unique of Hanoi. More attention should be given to training educational managers about digital schools, high-quality education, world economic trends, employment trends and digital technology teaching," Quang said.
He stressed that as Vietnam is in the process of strong innovation in education, so is Hanoi, especially in the last five years, and this innovation brings about both challenges and opportunities. Technology, innovation, environment, gender equality and pedagogical change and solutions for high-quality school environment are the main issues educators are facing today.
